Walks calendar

Unless it says otherwise in the description, there’s no need to book for our walks or contact the leader in advance, but please arrive in good time and be ready to go at the start time.

Here are our walks on the Ramblers walk finder including maps to help you find the start point for each walk.

Looking for socials and member-only events? You need our members’ calendar. You can find the link in our weekly email sent to CWW members.

  • If you have a question about a walk, please email walks@chilternsww.co.uk
  • Find out what to expect on a Ramblers group walk.
  • If you’re unsure of your fitness level, try a short and easy walk first.  It’s much better to find a walk a little too slow and easy than to make yourself miserable and exhausted.
  • Give yourself plenty of time to get to a walk and be ready to go at the start time.
  • Dress for the conditions. For winter walking, proper boots are a must.
  • Bring enough water and snacks to keep you going.
  • If you bring a dog, keep it under close control and don’t allow it to bother other walkers or livestock.
  • Bad weather can make a walk more challenging, especially in winter with slippery conditions.  Always check the forecast before setting out.
